How to convert an AutoCAD DWG drawing to an older file format?

A - answer Use the free Autodesk Batch Drawing Converter (requires AutoCAD) utility or the free Autodesk DWG TrueView/TrueConvert (standalone) utility, which can convert drawings between the DWG file formats of AutoCAD V2.x, R10, R11, R12, R13, R14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011.
