CAD tip # 7099:
Question
A
I want to draw (insert) a series of blocks along a polyline. But they should not be aligned to the polyline like in the MEASURE / DIVIDE commands but rather perpendicular to the current direction of the polyline.
This is the same method of aligning blocks. Just redefine your block (or a copy of it) and rotate it 90 degrees - use REFEDIT or BEDIT and ROTATE all the entities of your block 90 degrees around its reference point. Save the redefined block and repeat the MEASURE / DIVIDE command with the options Block and Align. The same approach can be used for the VerticesBlk utility.
Thanks CarlB for the original concept
