Q - question

Compatibility of Vault server 2013 with older client versions.

A - answer ADMS 2013, i.e. Vault server version 2013 can be used in combination with client versions of Vault 2013 but also with Vault clients version 2012.

This extended compatibility applies also for additional "ADMS/Vault client upgrades" (see Download) installed e.g. on top of old Inventor vesions. After the installation of the appropriate "ADMS 2012 client upgrade" to Inventor 2011 or 2010, you can still use these older client applications with the new Vault server version 2013.

In such combined client-server application you will have only functions available in the older version of the client and the new functionality will become available only after you install the new client version 2013.
