Q - question

Control codes "%%" in text entities.

A - answer In AutoCAD text (DText, etc.) you can use control codes prefixed with "%%" to enter special characters and formatting (may depend on a font, works fine with standard AutoCAD fonts). Besides the format "%%nnn" which can be used to enter a character with the internal code nnn, you can use the following special codes:

%%c diameter character (Ø)
%%d degree character (°)
%%u toggles underline mode
%%o toggles overline mode
%%k toggles strikethrough mode (since 2013)
%%p tolerance character, plusminus (±, +-)
%%% percent character (escape)
