How to avoid opening Acrobat Reader after publishing DWG to PDF?

A - answer If you don't want to launch Adobe Acrobat Reader automatically after publishing (printing, plotting) of PDF files from AutoCAD, set the appropriate setting in the custom options.

In the PLOT dialog, choose the printer "DWG To PDF.pc3" and modify its settings using the "Properties" button. In the "Plotter Configuration Editor" dialog, click on "Custom Properties" (incl. the button) and in the dialog "DWG to PDF Properties" then uncheck the option "Open in PDF viewer when done":
