Q - question

How to create 3D splines in Fusion 360 - e.g. for pipe axes?

A - answer You can 2D spline curves to 3D by moving their control points in Z-axis. But if you want to create 3D splines directly, enable the appropriate option in Fusion 360 preferences (in the menu under your login name).

In General > Design check (enable) the option "Allow 3D sketching of lines and splines":

You can use osnaps and constraints to existing 3D model geometry while drawing 3D splines. You can then use the resulting spline e.g. as an axis to create a 3D pipe (Create > Pipe).
