Q - question

How to insert a character in Kanji or Pinyin into Fusion 360?

A - answer If you want to model a 3D character in a non-latin language (alphabet), e.g. one of the Asian symbols in Kanji, Pinyin (Pchin-jin), Hangul, Hiragana, Katakana, Devanagari, Abugida, etc., you can use the Unicode support.

Select the requested character in one of the TrueType fonts supporting the full Unicode character set - using the Windows tool "Character map" (CharMap) or by copying it from your web browser and insert this text into the window of the Text tool in the Fusion 360 Sketch environment.

Finish the sketch and extrude the text outline into 3D, or optionally apply fillet on all edges of the character. You can then 3D print the resulting 3D model, machine it using the generated NC code, display it as a 3D rendering, etc.
