How to open a HTML document from AutoCAD?

A - answer If you want to open an existing HTML document (.htm or .html; a local file or a web page) from the AutoCAD environment or from a batch script file (.scr), you can use the commands BROWSER or just START.

The specified file will be opened using the currently associated web browser (e.g. MSIE, Chrome, Firefox) is a separate window - see e.g.:

_BROWSER c:\AuxFiles\Legend.htm

or

START c:\AuxFiles\Legend.htm

or (in the CUI menu): ^C^C_BROWSER;file://server/folder/legend.htm;

(START is a pseudo-command - alias - defined in ACAD.PGP)
