Q - question

How to record a screencast video from a CAD application?

A - answer If you want to present a workflow from AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Fusion 360 and from other software applications, including an identification of individual launched commands, you can record your screen using the free utility Autodesk Screencast.

With Screencast you can record mouse clicks and movements, keyboard actions, voiceover narrative or other audio, use simple video-cutting functions, and then publish (publicly or privately) the resulting video - including timeline with individual commands and dialogs - to your account on screencast.autodesk.com - see e.g. CAD Studio videos.

You can use Screencast for any Windows and Mac software application but in directly supported applications, Screencast records also commands and menus (timeline) - these are AutoCAD 2013-2020, AutoCAD LT 2013-2020, Fusion 360, InfraWorks 360, SimStudio Tools 2016+, Inventor 2014-2020, Inventor LT 2014-2020, Revit 2013-2020.

Videos can be also embedded into your web pages with IFRAME (similar as YouTube videos) - see:
