Q - question

Interactively adjust character spacing in AutoCAD texts.

A - answer With the freeware utility DynSpacing (DSPC) you can dynamically change character spacing (kerning) in paragraph texts (MText).

Download DynSpacing.vlx from Download, load it into AutoCAD with APPLOAD and type the command DSPC. Select a paragraph text (MText) and adjust text spacing as requested by moving your mouse cursor up/down.

The currently used spacing scale is dynamically displayed in the AutoCAD status line.

You may need to pan the view so that you get enough space after your object selection to move cursor up and down.
