Q - question

What is the BackAHL.exe process running in background with Inventor?

A - answer BackAHL is a temporary process used by Inventor to compute precise views in in background. This process runs only in short intervals (max. minutes) needed to generate views. It can consume substantial memory and CPU resources (can run on a second processor).
If you kill this process manually, Inventor will not attempt to start it again in the current session.
