Q - question

How to write a mathematical symbol, equation or matrix symbol in a drawing?

A - answer Either pick a symbol from one of the TrueType symbol fonts, place and scale it - or (much easier) use the "Equation Editor" supplied with MS Word.
In AutoCAD, use Insert > OLE Object and choose Equation Editor. Write your equation or symbol(s) and end the Editor. Scale and place the equation in your drawing as needed. If you need to edit the equation just double-click on it in the drawing.
