Did you know you can paste an Excel table to AutoCAD keeping the "live" cell formulas?
Even if your Excel table contains formulas like SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT or other expressions referencing other cells, you can Copy such table (cell range) from Excel and Paste it in AutoCAD 2006, LT 2006 or higher CAD applications. AutoCAD will retain these formulas and keep the 'intelligence' of the table in your AutoCAD drawing (a cell change will result in a computed change of all dependent cells in the AutoCAD table).
To transfer the table in this smart way use Paste Special and select AutoCAD Entities.
