Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 offers an embedded "drawing batch converter". You can find it in the File menu or under the CIVILBATCHCONVERTER command.

This function can change units in multiple drawings, explode Civil objects to simple AutoCAD entities, convert DWG file formats, bind xrefs, etc. You can add prefix or postfix to the processed file names.
