How to copy layer properties to a new layer?

A - answer To copy ayer properties (color, visibility, linetype, et.c) from an existing layer to a new one use the following:
Open the Layers dialog box, highlight the source layer (its properties will be copied). Press the New button (or choose New from the context menu). Now give a new name to your new layer.
