Files with extensions .wdt, .wdl, .wdd, .wdr, .wdx, .wdi, .wdf, .wdw, .wdn, .wda, .wdp are "wire description" files used in the AutoCAD Electrical projects. The ACAD Electrical projects also use .loc and .inst files. All such files are dependent external references of the project DWG file.

E.g. a WDL file contains project line labels, a WDW file contains wire color labels, a WDR file contains component ratings, a WDD file is an important text file containing component descriptions (also multilingual), INST contains installation codes.
