Saw this on Ebay and was curious if anyone knew for sure if this was a scam.  The price was decent but didn't seem too good to be true so hopefully it's legit.  Definitely not as suspicious as the OEM websites that allow you to download a copy for $30.

I would be very CAUTIOUS,

I would check with Autodesk first to see if that can legally be done before bidding on the software.

I plan on calling Autodesk like you suggested, as I'm not holding my breath that this is legitimate.

Do you have any suggestions as to where I can purchase older versions of Inventor safely?

You cannot. Older versions are usually not sold anymore. And you cannot re-purchase a license from another user (see the license agreement)..

That's what I suspected, thanks for clearing it up.  Definitely did not want to end up with illegal software!!
