Double click the scroll wheel and it gives a view of the paper slighltly smaller than the visible window.<div></div><div></div><img src="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/smileys/smiley6.gif" height="17" width="17" border="0" align="absmiddle" alt="Unhappy" />&nbsp;WHY? WHY can't AutoCAD work the same? Why do I have to change the setting so the scroll wheel&nbsp;will scroll in/out the same direction as AutoCAD?<div>&nbsp;</div><div>Thanks for letting me vent! You both confirmed what I had thought.<div></div><div></div>With a little research, I was able to create a new command and put it on the "Quick Access Toolbar". I created a custom icon for the button and the macro zooms extents, then zooms .93x.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=35918">heinsite</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7874<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25.May.2012 at 04:23<br /><br />I have read recently in the Autodesk Discussion Groups that this *was* changed (I hesitate to call it fixed) in 2013.&nbsp; In all prior versions there has been a slight zoom factor difference between zooming in and zooming out with a scroll wheel that has nothing to do with the ZOOMFACTOR system variable.&nbsp; But in 2013 the Autodesk programmers decided to "fix" it so that now the scroll wheel will zoom equally in both directions.&nbsp; Go figure.&nbsp; Many had not really noticed it much before... but I ran a quick test with 2012 the other day and sure enough!&nbsp; There it was.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>For the OP I would suggest creating custom views now.&nbsp; With those you'll always get exactly what you want.&nbsp; But that old behavior is gone as long as you continue using 2013.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Dave.</DIV>]]>

Essentially have it zoom extent and then automatically a zoom .9x<div>&nbsp;</div><div>I believe with 2012 I zoom extent and then rolled the wheel out one and in one to achieve this but that no longer works. Is there a way to adjust the zoom in/out of rolling the wheel?</div>]]>
