Do you want to let forum members know what software the detail is expected to be done in or does it matter?

I suppose you want it done in metric units right?

A "detailed" drawing in 2D?  So you need a top, front, and side view fully dimensioned?

That tray really doesn't look all that difficult to draw in 2D.  Even without having the dimensions I could probably draw something that looks pretty close.

I suggest you just draw it yourself.  Really, how long could it take?  30 minutes?

Well it's not like many of us are going to have one of those trays just sitting around in our homes is it?  Drive down to your local movie theater, buy a ticket to any movie, and enter as soon as they open the doors.  Bring a pad, pencil, flashlight and tape measure and start sketching.  Be quick about it.  After you are done sit back and enjoy the movie.  After the movie is over go home and transfer your sketches to CAD.  That's what we call mixing pleasure with business.  Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.  Post images when you are done.  We would like to see what you accomplished.  Good luck.

I thought of another way to do it.  Go to the movies but take your digital camera with you.  Take multiple photographs of the tray (top, front, side, etc.).  Use the IMAGEATTACH command to bring the raster images into AutoCAD then trace over them.  You'll have to know at least one measurement (make it the longest side) to properly scale the CAD drawing.

I don't have a tray available sorry.  If you pay for my ticket to a movie I can do it but I'd have to see if there is a movie theater nearby that has trays like the one you picture.  I may have to go to more than one theater.  How much money are you willing to spend?  Movie tickets aren't cheap.

The item you pictured is called a cinema seat snack tray.  It's overall dimensions are 14.5"x10" with the tray portion being 1.75" deep.  I found those measurements online.  You could probably mock up the tray starting with those dimensions and be pretty close.

Three different stores, one of which is WalMart, sell the trays for between $32 and $36 U.S.  There are two WalMarts near me.  Put $36 for the tray, $3.40 for a gallon of gas, plus $25 an hour for labor in my PayPal account I will go out buy a tray, bring it home, measure and draw it up.  Roughly $65 U.S.  That's my best offer.  If I can't find a tray I'll refund all your money with the exception of the cost of a gallon of gas.  So I'd refund roughly $61 U.S.  What do you say to that?

BTW....you'll have to be very specific about what you want as it may influence how long it takes to draw up.  More detail = more time = higher cost for my labor.  And I'm not even figuring in rental cost for my computer, software or the cost of electricity.  I'll throw that in at $0.  Such a bargain.
