Many workplaces will block that link as it is considered streaming media.  Might want to try another alternative.

Don't let the Grinch get you down the video was great and we hope you find her... but don't lose sight of you dream to become the best. The world needs dreamers it has way to many of the "by the book people"  or  "smashers"  those that think of no-one but themselves.

Go your way and may you find both of your dreams.

Thank you for sharing .

Is the sermon over?

The company I work for blocks websites that are identified with streaming media.  I just wanted to let mikey know that some of us may not be able to view the fruits of his labors and he might want to consider offering us an alternative.

Have you been nipping at the communion wine?

WOW is there no level you won't stoop to.
Yes I am a Pastor this is true and if that was intended to offend me I should let you know that I take nothing to heart.
I don't think that was a good thing to say but I have noted reading most of your post this is just the way you are.
I can live with that but do you really think that the rest of us are the resistance.

Just trying to wake you out of your stupor Higgins.  I still want to see mikey's drawings but I will have to wait until I get home where I don't face the same restrictions as work.  Praise God and pass the mouse.

He has no plea for help here and he has a great video of things he has done and a hope that his girl will see it . I don't think I'm in a stupor as you say but i get on here looking for answers or if I can help. and I noted that you spend a lot of time putting people down that just need some help.

I finally was able to sit through the whole thing.

The video is not very professional.  I hope you aren't planning on using it to get a job.

The story line about the girl has to go.  It is too sappy. juvenile and once again unprofessional.

The designs were all pretty much based on the same theme and after seeing the first building you basically had seen them all.  I was expecting a progression from something kind of every-dayish to wow-that-just-knocked-my-socks-off.  While the colored plan views were pretty good the elevations lacked punch too.  They were just bland and you basically used the same details in each building.  Show us your imagination dude; show us some creativity.  Show us something we have never seen before.  Have you looked at some of the buildings erected in Dubai or in Beijing (for the Olympics)?  Some of them are/were just mind blowing, cutting edge type of designs.  Where was that in your work?  If you want to stand out from the crows you are going to have to do much better.

I would have liked to see some building sections and some details.  The details could have been of some aspect of the project that really made it unique.  I want to be WOWED not bored.

I know for a fact that architectural students work in 3D so where were all the 3D models?  How about a 3D walk through one of the buildings so we could see it on the inside or a 3D over showing the exterior of the building?

Where were the 3D renderings with materials applied, sunlight, landscaping, people, vehicles, etc?  How about a 3D rendering at night with the building lit up from the inside and street lights outside?  There was no "punch", no excitement, no real sense of "Look what I can do!".  It was pretty much a flat unemotional presentation.

You may be good at architecture but you have a long way to go.

Good luck in your endeavors.

I'd like to see actual DWG files uploaded including at least one floor plan and one elevation.  If you have any drawings that show sections and/or details one of those would be nice to see too.  It's always helpful to see how people set their drawings up in regards to layering, dimensioning, etc. and their use of model space and layouts.

Thanks in advance for doing this.  Looking forward to seeing your work up close and personal.

The world is a cruel place; the workplace is even worse.  With so many people looking for a job one has to be on their toes or the person behind you will run right over you and take what is offered.  I toughen them up; I don't baby them.  If you can't take the heat then get out of the kitchen.  Competition will eat you alive if you aren't wary.  It ain't a bed of roses out their reverend.

It is not a good idea to post one's personal email address in a public forum.

I sent you an email.  You might want to remove your email address from your post.
