Hi

Found this app: http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/download.asp?fileID=1208

Extremely helpful, but I can't seem to figure out where to locate the exported pat file.

All help appreciated!

The obvious place would be where your DWG files are stored.  Next obvious would be where the acad.pat file that AutoCAD is actually using is stored.  To find that particular file while in AutoCAD go to your command line and type the following EXACTLY as shown:

(findfile"acad.pat")

Then press the Enter key.  AutoCAD will return the path to the file.

Thank you for the suggestions, but I forgot to tell you that I have done a search on C: I have also tried the (findfile "acadiso.pat") and did not find it under in app data -> roaming. Looked in local as well.

The source drawing is actualy on a server, so got my hopes up for a bit there, but no luck. Even did a search for SPRENG.pat on the server, without any results.

Reading the suggestions again I tried searching My computer instead of just C: and there it was in C:\Users\mkt\Documents

Thanks for the help.

Sometimes what we are looking for is literally right under our noses.  Glad to hear you found it.
