Our company is updating all computers. They have put in for a tower as my main work station set up with AutoCAD2013 and a laptop so I can take and work on CAD details in meetings once or twice a week. My main work station has one 27" screen and one 23" screen. I'm thinking that it may be more cost effective to spend more on a really good laptop that I can use as my main work station and add the second 27" screen so it's multi-screen when I'm at the office. If that was the case I'm sure the budget would be at least $2500 for the laptop maybe more. Can anyone advise a laptop that would be sufficient for this application? 17" or 18" screen? Thanks

Check out Xi Computers.  I think they have a 17" laptop available.
