When I zoom up on some text and double click to edit the text formatting box is always centered in the current view. That always seems to be right over the text I want to edit. I usually just move it out of the way but I would think that there is a way to change the pop up location. Can anyone help with this modification.

Thanks,

Steve

It will always pop up in the location it was last used it.  Test it by moving the box off to the right before closing it.  Now double click on some text to edit.  Where does the box appear?

I tried and it always goes back to the center. I have noticed that my palettes seem to open up in a different position after shutting down AutoCAD Architecture 2013. Not sure that one has anything to do with the other though.

So you are not using AutoCAD 2011 you're using AutoCAD Architecture 2013.  I see.  Maybe AutoDesk decided to do things differently in the vertical products.  I don't know.

Normally palettes would open where you set them up IF you saved your setup as a custom Workspace.  Maybe the same thing applies to the text dialog box too.
