    Posted: 20.Mar.2014 at 21:23
Hi,

When I try to add grad angles to Observations Editor Civil 3D does not accept values over 360, even if I set angles to grads in all places (in survey database settings, equipment database manager, drawing settings, and drawing units. Remember that Grad angles close the circle at 400g, whereas Degrees close it at 360.

The exact context is:

Show Toolspace;

In the Survey Tab, Create New local survey database

Set angle units to grads at least in Survey database settings and equipment database manager, thow I also set so in drawing settings and drawing units;

Create new network

Define Control Points and Directions

Create the first Setup

Once created, right click, Edit observations

Add an observation with an angle (considering to be expressed in Grads) with a value over 360

The program simply won't accept the value like it would reject by default all values equal or over 360.

It does not work even if you change the angle type from angle to Azimuth.

Why? Might this be a bug or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thank you
