Hi,
I try to make CAD floor plan my flat with Draftsight. I am hobby user.

LWPOLYLINE
Handle: 118
Mode: Model
Layer: 0
LineColor: ByLayer
LineStyle: ByLayer
LineWeight: ByLayer
PolyLine Flags: Closed
Area: 37.41
Perimeter: 26
Location 0: X=-196.6975807 Y=422.6058493 Z=0
Location 1: X=-196.6975807 Y=431.3058493 Z=0
Location 2: X=-192.3975807 Y=431.3058493 Z=0
Location 3: X=-192.3975807 Y=422.6058493 Z=0

I would like to move PolyLine (not only one vertex) in this way:

Vertex 3 (=Location 2: X=-192.3975807, Y=431.3058493, Z=0) to absolute coordinate -190.4, 422.3

It should be very easy, but I have already messed all the settings, so I am only able to move PolyLine relatively.

Thanks for the answer, Tomaz

Invoke the MOVE command.

When prompted for the basepoint pick the lower left hand corner of your floor plan.

When prompted for the second point type 0,0,0 at the command line and be done with it.

That's all you really need to do.

Considering I have no idea how your AutoCAD is set up I want you to do a couple of things for me real quick. Go to the bottom of your AutoCAD program and there should be a list of functions to click. Right-Click OSNAP and select settings. Make sure that your Object Snap On has a check mark in it. Then make sure that your Endpoint box is checked.

Ok now we are ready to proceed

- Select the polyline you want to move.

- Use the move command by either typing in "MOVE" (enter) or "M" (enter). Or as another option you can probably find the move command in your toolbar.

- Once you are in the move command click the above referenced "Vertex 3" you wish to move.

- It will now want to know the location where you want that "Vertex 3". So you will then type your previous coordinates listed.

-190.4

, (comma)

422.3

Hopefully I understood your situation fully and this achieved what you are asking.
