In AutoCAD 2015 a new User Interface element named Cursor Badges was added. Cursor badges showed a graphical tip next to the cursor on what you were doing. While many appreciated the graphical tip, some users preferred to not have the cursor badges displayed. We have acted on the feedback and added the ability to disable cursor badges in the recently released AutoCAD 2015 SP1 and AutoCAD LT 2015 SP1. http://knowledge.autodesk.com/article/Can-cursor-badges-be-turned-off-in-AutoCAD-2015
