I'm creating a sub-part for an assembly. The part (as shown in the image) requires a tapped hole with the following configuration: 5/16-24 UNF-2B v 0.300, and then there's a description immediately following that. Something of an 'underscore'diameter .500 (the bottom line of the hole callout description).

What does the underscore symbol mean?

This is what I've put into the hole requirement feature, but I think I'm missing something. Please help!

Hello fiwo2615, I don't know about Inventor but I know about UNF.
Could 0.5 be the depth of the bored hole ( and 0.3 the depth of the threaded hole ) ?
