Hi All,

A client has provided us with some TOPSOLID files (*.TOP) that we would like to ammend in Inventor.

Does anyone know of a way we can convert these files into a suitable format?

We can view the files in a program called TopSolid Viewer by Missler Software....but there appears to be no export option within this program.

If anyone can help it'll be much appreciated

Thanks

Ask your client what file formats can be exported from TopSolid and see if .SAT is one of the them.  I believe Inventor can import a .SAT file.

most simple and common language is .STEP or .STP,
all 3D is allow to convert to either file,
and all software can open this file.

but the "browser" history will missing and become .IPT file only.

but for Inventor 2015 is no problem ,
because it is new command call " DIRECT"
