I've been using AutoCAD for 20 years now and I'm now stuck at Land Desktop 2006 with the Civil/Survey package. Autodesk now wants to gouge me for almost $6000 for me to become current! Is this for real? I'm a single user and can't afford to upgrade all the time - both in terms of money or training. Autodesk forces me to buy Civil 3D when all I want to do is upgrade my Land Desktop - the program I have been used to for years. I don't have the time or money to retrain myself in Civil 3D.

Anybody else have this kind of problem? Anybody have any ideas or solutions? Autodesk is pricing me right out of business!Confused
