It's a Friday, so I try to avoid blog posts about the free technology previews on Autodesk Labs.

Autodesk Labs is part of the Office of the Chief Technology Officer which we abbreviate as OCTO. We joke that we want to take over Autodesk so our internal logo is:

OctoLogo_v2

The corporate branding police at Autodesk loathe this logo. That just makes some of our team members happier.

Anytime one of our team members sees anything interesting regarding an octopus, we pass it around. I saw this the other day.

Read and digest the article for yourself
.

We are all familiar with the Microsoft expression of using one's own software as "eating one's own dog food," but does this article imply that we're supposed to merely "east one's own" now?

Sushi humor is alive in the lab.
