Hi
what and why there is a deference between copy a block and insert a block in scale size?

the copy order make the block perfect size.
the insert order make it smaller.

thank you

Hello ahmad.albanna, if you copy a block in the same file there is no problem.
If you copy/paste or insert a block or a file you should check if the "insertion scale" is OK in the 2 files.
You have this in UNITS.
If you set correctly the units in all yours files there shouldn't be any problems working with different units and you should insert other units files without having to scale them after.

Check the system variable INSUNITS.

Read this first....http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2015/ENU/AutoCAD-Core/files/GUID-A58A87BB-482B-4042-A00A-EEF55A2B4FD8-htm.html

Hello John and ahmad, INSUNITS and openning UNITS + seting "drag-and-drop scale" is the same.
When you launch INSUNITS you will have to know what number to apply.
When you launch UNITS you have the seting with its meaning.
No problems for me.
