When Senior Sustainable Buildings Product Manager and Sustainable Building Program Manager, Aniruddha Deodhar, contacted me about hosting Project Rosenfeld on Autodesk Labs, I had no idea what the project was about. So I googled Rosenfeld and found images of Alexandra Rosenfeld.

So I asked Aniruddha if Project Rosenfeld was named after her. He chuckled, and told me, no, it was named after Art Rosenfeld who could be called the “Father” of energy efficiency.

Project Rosenfeld is our interactive, mobile application that lets you quickly capture existing building conditions and create 3D models for energy analysis. With Project Rosenfeld, you take photographs with an iPad and are guided step-by-step as they digitally model an existing building. In a matter of minutes, you have an energy model and a detailed energy assessment report that you can use to prioritize energy conservation measures.
