I have a question about configuring mm in inventor, because every time i open a drawing or assembly, those ones open as "inch" and i want to open them as "mm". Probably you guys will say "you need to go to Tools/Documents Settings/Units and change it" and it is OK, but i do need to set it "by default" as mm. because it is pretty odd i change it every time i open a drawing.

Please

p.S: the pieces coming as mm but anywhere they open as inches

This solution regarding your problem was posted over at the Inventor Discussion Group.

You have to replace the Standard.i?? templates in your default templates folder with the ones from the Metric templates folder.
