Hi all,
 
Just wandering if anyone knows the scale factor from A4 to A3?
I know that from A3 to A4 is approx. 0.7

Hello Ejas, if you want to learn about euro formats search in Wikipedia paper sizes.
 
The basic is the format A0 = 1 m2 with a ratio of the square root of 2 = 1.4142136.......
Go to the CAD/BIM Blocks library in the site to find my file : PAPER SIZES A0+A1+A2+A3+A4.dwg for you to work in millimeters with some already set utilities.

I'd use 1.414.  I doubt you need anything more precise.
