When I double click text or attributes nothing happens to put me in edit mode on the text.

Is the DBLCLKEDIT system variable set to "1"?

Yes it is on. The only values showing are "on" or "off".

Is PICKFIRST also set to "1"?

I figured it out!! Opening up options and opening up the selection tab, under selection modes, the
"NOUN/VERB SELECTION" box has to be checked. I thought I would put this out there so no one
else would be pulling their hair out trying to figure it out. Merry Christmas!!!!!
