can anybody help me opening the .ecw format in autocad 2012. Iis there any plugin for opening the ecw format files in autocad 2012?

Found this at the AutoDesk Discussion Groups.

Raster image files in the ECW format are natively supported in AutoCAD (since version 2012). Just specify the ECW file in the IMAGEATTACH command. See:
