Is it possible to add a command to the ctrl+q (quit autocad) and the close drawing (right-top cross window) functions?

Because I need to save and quit the drawings at the moment the visretain variable = 0.
But because I need to switch between several drawings every time I save, this variable = 1.

The drawings are external references from each other.

Drawing 1 is laying beneath drawing 2 and vice versa.

I want to see the changes that I have made in drawing 1, at drawing 2 and vice versa.

Because a lot of layers are freezed, they will not appear after reload the xref every time.

But after I am finished with drawing and somebody else is opening the drawing, he needs to see every layer in the drawing.

Is this possible, or do I need to change my visretain setting every time and time again before I quit drawing?
