Hi,

I want to run the EATTEXT command on the commandline. So I use "-EATTEXT". No problem here.

However the EATTEXT (i.o.w. the wizard) allows my to put the extracted data into a table.

-EATTEXT doesn't do this! This is really annoying. I'm doing something wrong? Is it possible to do this using -EATTEXT??

I want to create a button which does the following:

Command: -EATTEXT
Enter the extraction type [Objects/Currentdwg/Selectdwg/Template] :
o
Select Blocks: 1 found  [USER SELECTS THE BLOCKS]
Select Blocks:
Extract data from external reference drawing? [Yes/No] : n
Extract data from nested blocks? [Yes/No] : n
Do you want to use a template? [Yes/No] : y
Enter template file path: T:\template.blk
Enter the output filetype [Csv/Txt/Xls/Mdb] : ????WHY

Thank for your reply.

No,

ax doesn't work, but I know what you want: ATTEXT. And that's not what I'm looking for.

I've 50 attribute blocks. I want to extract the attribute values into a table. EATTEXT does that.
Now I want to automate this proces so I have to use -EATTEXT so:
* only have to select the blocks I want.
* only have to position the table in my drawing.

hope someone can help me.
