PIC Scandium is the chemical element whose atomic number is 21 (so it is old enough to drink) and is a soft silvery-white metal generally included among the rare earth elements. Project Scandium is our technology preview that extends simulation capabilities with new capabilities. Though the technology preview is a separate program, users who wish to participate in the technology preview must have a valid license of Autodesk Moldflow Insight 2016. This is because the Moldflow team is interested in hearing from Moldflow Insight users as to how the technology preview compares to existing Moldflow Insight functionality. The technology preview and Autodesk Moldflow Insight 2016 can be installed side-by-side. Last week, the Moldflow team provided me with new installers for the technology preview of Project Scandium. I posted them for download and updated the site. This technology preview comes as two installers — one for the user interface and a second for the solver functionality. You will want to run both installers. The technology preview is active until January 2, 2016. You are encouraged to try them out and provide feedback to labs.moldflow.scandium@autodesk.com or the discussion forum associated with the Autodesk Labs technology preview project. A request for feedback about elements of the technology is alive in the lab. Go to the original post... |
