The version is civil 3d 2014. The filter was created for Name (point name), L

(Longitude), L(Latitude), Z (point elevation), D, (Point Description). I used notepad
to create the file. Windows 8.1 (operating version)

The steps I did, I created the Name-LLZD filter with the point file I am trying to

insert. The file parses. then I try to insert the text file, thats when I get the

error that there is no matching filter. Now the filter I created is listed among the

other filters. I'm stumped.... I followed every step right out of the Civil 3D 2014

text book.....

I noticed that there is no header to match the point file with the point filter. What has cad done now to bridge that link
