Hello,

This site has a converter that converts stl files to dxf files. But when converted and opened in autocad, they are shown as
weird wire frame and not as a solid. They also don't behave like a solid.

My quistion is : Is there a way to change these wire frames into a solid in autocad, as i'm sure there should be.

Best regards, And thank you for your help,
Mozes

That's correct. STL files are not solids but 3D meshes. So the resulting DXF/DWG file is also a surface mesh formed by 3DFACEs.

There are methods how to convert a watertight mesh to a 3D solid - see e.g.:

Trying to use the STL2DWG CAD forum converter. however each time i use it i get the error message File to large. The MAX is 20MB. the file I'm trying to use is just little over 12MB. Has any one else had this problem? or is the file I'm using actually to big?
