I have been sent two .otf fonts from the architect.  I cannot get them to appear in Acad 2008.  I have placed the files in the acad font folder and the windows font folder.  Does anyone know how to work with open type fonts?

You can convert to .ttf.
Google "otf to ttf converter"

.OFT or .OTF?
Some OTF fonts (need to be installed, not just copied) are supported in AutoCAD - see the tip:
