Downloads for compatible CAD / BIM Library symbols

Don't laugh now.

I have an old version, 2008,  of Vectorworks(Nemetschek Software) and designing my new home in 3D.  I am looking for more symbols to place in the design:  electrical outlets, service boxes, etc. for home wiring also some 3D furniture would be nice.  The elec symbols should be simple 2D though.  Not sure where to look after using the Nemetschek home page and linking to places they suggest.  Could not find much.  However, I can read any dwg or dxf file and convert my native VW files to such. I plan to use THIS website to find some initially, but so far not much luck here.

Finally, I cannot understand why I cannot find anyone / anywhere ready to SELL an old version of Vectorworks so I can stop using my OLD Mac and use my newer, faster one.  I need at least version 2011.  Any guidance here would be nice.  Nemetschek is worthless for this and they will not guide me to old users, of course!

You have two things working against you.

1. Vectorworks version is old.

2. You're using a Mac.
