I've recently had a co-worker purchase a MAC, yet they find it much more difficult to use for basic CAD commands. Apparently the MAC version of CAD is altered a bit. Does anyone find it easier to use cad on a mac? What are the pro's and con's of using a mac for AutoCAD?

AutoCAD for Mac was a total rewrite of the program to meet the criteria set forth by Apple.  While some features basically remain unchanged other features are quite a bit different or are missing entirely.  I think there is a version matrix for comparison purposes at the AutoDesk website that displays the differences between the PC and Mac versions.

Thanks John - looking for actual users of MAC using CAD to help me determine the ease of use. After all, MAC is suppose to be user friendly. Maybe there's someone who's used MAC only for CAD. Has that person mastered CAD on a MAC? If so, does that person find the PC version frustrating?

You would have better luck over at the AutoCAD for Mac discussion forum at the AutoDesk website.
