Getting old, haven't used Autocad 2005 for a loooooooooonnnnnnnngggggggggg time.

I was just setting up some sheets (pages) with view ports.
How do I stop the viewport frames from printing? I forgot, ummmm.  Confused

Hello Tankman, When I don't want to print the viewports frames I just put them on the Defpoint layer.
That layer comes automatically when you put your first dimension in your file.
I would recommend to set that Defpoint layer with the colour 41 for example as it will come with the white colour so that you can see each of the item place on that useful layer.

It is no longer recommended that users place viewports or anything else for that matter on the Defpoints layer.  Create a new layer specifically for your viewports and in the Layer Properties Manager set it to the "no print" option (you'll see a red diagonal line be placed through the printer icon when you do this).
