Hi all, I am a newbie to this site and am hoping some kind person can help me with a problem I have encountered. I am a junior interior designer who can use CAD but I do come up against some problems, most of which I can figure out for myself but this one is perplexing me(which funnily enough is probably something really very easy to solve.)

My problem is as follows: I received a CAD dwg from an architect in Brussles, however I think they have dimensioned the drawing in ‘cm’ where as I work in ‘mm’ and when I am in printing layout, I have found that their drawing seems to be at a 1/10 scale which does not seem right as usually when I am trying to print out on an A3 sized page usually the drawing has to be at a 1/100 scale to fit all of it. Yet when I input the drawing scale as 1/100 the model shrinks considerably and is just not right. I hope I have explained myself properly and I am very greatful to anyone who has taken the time to read my query.

When you are inserting drawing use scale 1/10 .
