I tried searching on the specific error message you posted above but could not find anything at the AutoDesk website.

What kind of "adjustment" were you trying to make?

Is your version of 2009 LT current with all updates?

Does the error appear in any drawing you are working in or just one specific drawing?

Does the error appear when you start a new drawing?

By adjust i meant, adding new layers and making changes to perhaps the color/ lineweights of an existing layer.

It happens with all the drawing i worked on,
and i tried it on a fresh new drawing and the message still showed up.

Did you bother to install any/all service packs?  Yes or no?

Have you tried a REPAIR of the installation (which is NOT the same as an uninstall/reinstall)?  Yes or no?
