Hi
Looking for some help, is it possible to do a gradient hatch running from a shape away from it to a solid colour? like a tint effect for a boundary of building plot, in Auto cad LT 2013. I can do it running from one end of the shape to the other but looking to create a tinted line around the shape running from the shape outwards to the outer edge. any help would be much appreciated regards Craig

Your description is a bit confusing.
You have a site plan with a building on it and you want to gradient hatch the area between the exterior of the building and the property line. Is that it? Edited by John Connor - 27.Sep.2016 at 16:59 |

hi John
You can hatch with a gradient, from say white to red, in the current setting you can go from one side of a shape to the other from white to red. what I am asking is if I installed a boundary line around the shape can I install a gradient hatch with in that boundary line running from white on the inside edge to red on the other edge. Well now that I have had a second look at the problem I think the answer is yes. Pick the gradient sample in the lower left hand corner of the nine possible combinations shown. Basically it is the "centered" option. Got it?

Pretty much the identical question came up here, if that discussion gives you any other ideas.
