What was the exact wording of the error message?

Did you try using the RECOVER command?

Well you either solved the problem or gave up and started all over.  In the future you might want to consider using such commands as Overkill, -Purge > Regapps, -Purge > All and Audit to clean up your drawings and fix any errors in the drawing database before saving them.  You'll find that you will have less problems with file corruption.

I don't see where you wrote the contents of the error message.  Did you use invisible lettering?

You could try and locate your backup file "DrawingName.bak" and change the extension from bak to dwg.

You may get lucky and the backup file could still be usable

What does the error message say specifically?  Jeez, this is like pulling teeth.

Did you try spindly's suggestion?

mudd: It is bad form to hijack a thread with a question that does not pertain to it.  Try to remember that in the future.  Thanks.
