You failed to answer the second question which leads me to believe you are using pirated software.  If that is the case that could be the root cause of your problem.

You still refuse to answer my question re: legally purchased software.  So I can be of no further help.

FYI - While pirated software may be free it has also been known to be quite unpredictable and fatal errors are very common.  The other downside is you can't get help in solving your problem from any of the usual sources.  You're basically on your own.

When you are installing the Autodesk product, it is the very first thing after the OS?  If not try that.  In the past Some Autodesk products (AutoCAD) would error out or cause other programs to error when attempting to run.

The order of installation of AutoCAD has no affect on whether or not it will run.  Show me a statement from AutoDesk itself that says otherwise.

And what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

You have a program that for some reason won't install on a desktop or a laptop and it also won't install under two different operating systems.  Either the program is pirated (you say it isn't) or the installation files are corrupt.

Did you contact AutoDesk and fill out a support request?

Support requests, unless deemed an emergency, can take up to 48 hours to be acknowledged with something other than an automated reply.  It's a wonder why anyone would continue to use a product where you have to wait that long to get help considering the initial price of the program and the yearly subscription fee.

Have them send you a disk with the program on it.  Installation via a download is notoriously flaky especially if you have a slow Internet connection or one that is prone to interruptions.
